Maypole Raising Daglfing 2026 – Live Saxophone Music at the May Festival in Munich
On May 1, 2026, one of the most beautiful Bavarian traditional events was celebrated in Daglfing (Munich Bogenhausen): the ceremonial maypole raising.
In the run-up, the maypole was traditionally guarded in a hall of SV Helios-Daglfing – a firmly established part of Bavarian maypole culture.
The big festival brought together numerous guests, families and visitors. Political representatives from Munich were also on site, underlining the importance of this traditional event for the Bogenhausen district.
Oktoberfest Vibe with Live Saxophone Music
Saxophonist Natalie Marchenko created a special atmosphere with an energetic live performance on the festival grounds.
With live saxophone music, Oktoberfest hits and modern party classics, an atmosphere like at a real Munich Oktoberfest was created. The musical performance was inspired by the popular show concepts of the Munich All Stars all-female band – known for Oktoberfest bands, Wiesn events, corporate parties and Bavarian live music in Munich.
