From modern pop and elegant lounge music to well-known songs in new arrangements: saxophone and electric strings can be used in many different musical ways – discreetly during a reception and with considerably more energy as a live highlight.
Live music directly at the exhibition stand
At an
exhibition stand, the aim is not to be as loud as possible. Music has to integrate into conversations, presentations and networking.
Sax & Strings can be used for short live sets. Between sets, there is deliberately time for client conversations and presentations.
Depending on the event, we perform with saxophone, violin and cello or adapt the line-up to the client's concept.
The repertoire is a particular advantage at international trade shows: modern pop music, lounge, well-known international songs and instrumental arrangements work regardless of the audience's language.
From reception to booth party
The same line-up can fulfil different roles during a trade show day.
At a reception or during networking, the music initially stays in the background. Saxophone and strings accompany the atmosphere without dominating conversations.
Later, the programme can become considerably more powerful. For a client reception or booth party, we switch to well-known pop, dance and house tracks and turn the musical accompaniment into a visible live highlight.
For larger evening events, Sax & Strings can also be expanded with a DJ or DJane, singer or additional female musicians.

For larger corporate events, the ensemble can be expanded with additional female musicians.
This allows the line-up to be tailored to the exhibition stand, number of guests, venue and desired musical schedule.
From Bridgerton to Dua Lipa
Sax & Strings is deliberately not a purely classical string ensemble.
The repertoire includes modern pop songs, lounge, house, dance and well-known international tracks as well as elegant instrumental arrangements.
The modern Bridgerton style – well-known pop songs in a classical string sound – is also particularly suitable for receptions, dinners and premium corporate events.
This creates a musical arc: elegant and discreet at the beginning, more modern during the event and energetic when networking turns into a party.
Sax & Strings at the CoreNet Global Summit in Munich
We recently demonstrated how well modern strings and saxophone suit an international business event at the CoreNet Global Summit in Munich.
For the international audience, the focus was not on classical concert music, but on a modern, premium sound that suited the setting of the event.
Events like these demonstrate particularly well why flexible live line-ups are appealing for corporate events: music can be part of a reception, create atmosphere and later become a programme highlight in its own right.

EXPO REAL Munich – 5 to 7 October 2026
EXPO REAL is already the next major international industry meeting in Munich.
A flexible live concept is particularly suitable for exhibitors who welcome clients and business partners at their booth or invite them to a get-together in the evening: individual musical accents during the day, followed by a stronger programme for a reception or booth party.
electronica Munich – 10 to 13 November 2026
In November, electronica follows as one of the most important international events at the Munich trade show venue.
At technology and corporate events, live music can have a more modern and visual presence. Electric violin, cello and saxophone are particularly well suited to modern exhibition stands, product presentations and booth parties.
A combination of DJ and live female musicians is also possible for the evening.
BAU Munich – 11 to 15 January 2027
After the turn of the year, Munich's trade show calendar begins with one of its largest international dates: BAU 2027.
Companies planning client receptions, booth parties or evening events during the trade show benefit from planning the music early.
